well, i go by ming, which is really short for benjamin (pronounced bang-ha-ming in spanish). growing up in panama, my friends didn’t want to say bang-ha-ming all the time, so i became known as ming. even my mother calls me that. so, when i decided to start up my web design business, i was trying to come up with a name for it and my friend suggested “minc” as in ming inc. so i got the domain. but then started up a couple of other companies and haven’t ever really done much with this domain. for a while i had it set up for my bro and his wife so they could communicate while he’s over in iraq, but with the joys of modern technology (i.e. the cell phone) he can call and talk to her just about daily. so, it’s pretty much been dormant for the past uh, five years or so. maybe i’ll just start using it as a blog. i have my main web design site, but i do like the simplicty of WordPress in terms of writing. we’ll see.

well. i guess this should be a post about me huh? well, i was born in central america. gorgas hospital in the canal zone of panama to be exact. lived there, um, until i turned 11, then moved to the US. panama was a great place to grow up. great beaches, warm, exotic, etc. was pretty bummed when we left.

i live in the middle of nowhere, which is fine. it’s quiet at least. but i wish there were mountains around to go explore or a beach to go relax on. instead i live surrounded by oceans of corn fields. gotta love middle america. did a stint out on the east coast for a few years. that was a good time. i lived in rhode island, tiny, but fun. providence is a great city. it’s small, but very metropolitan. always lots of stuff going on, especially in the arts community. the ocean was nice too…

will have to write more later. gotta get some dinner. one of these days i gotta redesign this thing. nothing like being a web designer and using the default theme. lol.
